Having grown up in western Sydney, Michael lived in Windsor for over 30yrs before moving to Bathurst in 2014 following a career change. Michael was appointed as a Celebrant in 1991 and is also a Justice of the Peace.
Michael’s working career started in Penrith and since that time he has occupied various management positions within business culminating in his role as CEO of an industry association. Having conducted training seminars, presented at conferences both locally and internationally Michaels skills in presenting to an audience are of the highest standard. He is able to engage the audience in a manner that ensures all participants feel that they are a part of the occasion.
Michael is known for his ability to put people at ease and his capacity to work with others to achieve their goals. With over 20 years of experience as a celebrant Michael is able to customise the delivery of the ceremony so that it best reflects the wishes of the couple. He has conducted traditional ceremonies, themed ceremonies, multifaceted ceremonies, ceremonies that incorporate individual beliefs and ceremonies that simply celebrate the occasion.
It is Michael’s belief that each ceremony should reflect the individuality of the couple and therefore he recommends that couples should plan their day around what they want to do during the day. He further believes that that there is no right or wrong way for a ceremony to be conducted and that couples should be able to say the day after the ceremony that what was conducted was the right ceremony for them.
